United in Service: SWFL's Collaborative Veteran Support
United in Service: SWFL's Collaborative Veteran Support
To reach the veterans who need us most, we are actively seeking partnerships with organizations that already serve or connect with veterans and older adults. Here’s why we want to work with you:
Churches & Places of Worship
We want to partner with churches because many veterans and their families are part of your community. Your congregation trusts you. Together, we can share practical health tools that support veterans physically and mentally in a caring, faith-friendly way.
55+ Communities & Retirement Communities
You serve older adults every day — many of whom are veterans. We want to bring simple, effective health tracking and wellness support directly to your residents so they can stay stronger, more independent, and enjoy a higher quality of life.
Rehab Facilities & Recovery Centers
You help veterans recover from injuries, surgeries, and other challenges. We offer a clear way to measure and track real improvements in strength, balance, and daily function — giving both your staff and patients visible progress they can see and celebrate.
Community Organizations
Whether you are a VFW, American Legion, senior center, or veteran service group, you already stand beside veterans. We want to support your mission by providing a practical health program that helps veterans feel stronger and more confident.
Local Businesses
You serve the same veterans and families we hope to reach. By partnering with us, you can offer your customers and community a meaningful resource that supports veteran health and wellness.
We offer free healthcare navigation specifically for veterans and their spouses, helping them successfully navigate the VA healthcare system and connect with the right VA medical services and support. We also connect them with valuable community resources, other veteran organizations, and trusted healthcare providers specializing in cancer, Alzheimer’s, AIDS, and other serious conditions.
In addition, we coordinate gift-in-kind donations and organize community pantries so veterans have access to the essential items they need.
By working together, we build a stronger, more caring support network that helps veterans feel healthier, more connected, and better supported in their daily lives.
To help more veterans and grow our impact, we are actively looking for support in three key areas:
Volunteers
We are looking for compassionate volunteers who want to directly help veterans in practical ways. You can provide companionship and friendship to veterans who feel isolated, help us organize birthday parties and celebrations, assist with house cleaning and light home support, pick up and deliver goods that veterans want to donate to thrift stores. Every act of service — big or small — helps veterans feel cared for and supported.
Fundraising Opportunities
We are looking for individuals, businesses, and organizations that can support us through donations, sponsorships, or fundraising events. Every contribution helps us provide our program at no cost to veterans, expand our reach, and bring meaningful health tools to those who served our country.
Spaces to Communicate Our Mission
We are looking for churches, community centers, 55+ communities, veteran organizations, and local venues that can offer us space to hold meetings, workshops, presentations, or information tables. Having the right place allows us to directly connect with veterans and share how the VA Whole Health program can improve their daily lives.
